This is a quarterly, one day programme for over 200 pregnant mothers, that provides them with essential items that are required for a new born child including free medical checkups, religious activities for their emotional health and awareness on nutritious food. According to Lord Buddha’s teachings - Child care and education begins in the womb (Gabbha Pariharan Deti).
This important program builds the relationship between mother and child during the prenatal times. This one-day activity is focused on the enhancement of spirituality, mindfulness, meditation, loving kindness and compassion and of the wellbeing of the child and the mother.
Monks and lay advisors come together to provide Dhamma teaching and instructions on child care. They advise on childbirth, child care and nutrition with natural food, awareness on non-toxic food preparations etc. Each participant receives a gift pack with essential items for the use of a new born.
