At this home we provide essential care, accommodation and medication for helpless elderly females and directs them to religious programmes to develop their spiritual and emotional sense of well-being.
The main at the Home, comprises of taking care of homeless and helpless elderly ladies with compassion and includes those who are spending the last stages of their lives. To soften the weariness, isolation and the mental stress, simple handicraft making and religious programmes are conducted which helps to uplift their mental and physical well-being.
This home was established on a property in Moderawana generously donated to the Bodhiraja Foundation by Mr. W.G.Gunapala with the main patronage of Madam Kusuma Khong of Malaysia and was named after her. This Home is supervised by the Department of Social Services.
